A missing man is found dead in a car in Johor baru

JOHOR BARRU: Inside his car, a man who had been missing from Kota Tinggi for nearly three weeks was found dead.

The victim, Muhammad Hamizan Ramli, 33 years old and missing since May 18, has been identified.

Asst Comm Raub selemat, Johor Baru South OCPD said that police received a distress phone call about a man who was found unconscious in a vehicle at 11.20am Wednesday (June 5) from the public.

The victim is the missing person reported on May 19, in Kota Tinggi. The medical staff of Sultanah Aminah Hospital found the victim dead in the car’s driver’s side.

He said that “Further investigation by the police on the scene found no evidence of criminal activity while the body was sent to HSA for post-mortem,” here, on Wednesday.

ACP Raub stated that the police had classified the case of sudden death. Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact the hotline for the state police at 07-2212999, or file a police report at their nearest station.
