Anwar visits Pahang MB National Heart Institute

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ibrahim visited Pahang Mentri besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail on Monday, who is undergoing treatment at the National Heart Institute.

Anwar posted on Facebook that Wan Rosdy was doing better when he saw him this afternoon.

I had the chance to meet Pahang Mentri besar Datuk seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail this morning.

“Alhamdulillah. His condition is improving following a surgical procedure. He is now under the medical supervision of specialists at IJN,” said he.

In a press release issued on Thursday, Datuk Seri Zulkifli Yaacob, Pahang’s State Secretary announced that Wan Rosdy will be treated at IJN from June 7 to a date determined by the doctors.

Anwar also said in the same post that he visited his former Yayasan Anda student Basuki Yusof and the uncle of Pahang’s Sultan, Tengku Muhammad Ibni-Sultan Abu Bakar. Both are receiving treatment at IJN.

Anwar said, “Praying that they be blessed with good health and a speedy recovery Insya Allah.”
