Pahang Menteri Besar has undergone surgery at National Heart Institute

KUANTAN – On Friday (7th June), Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail underwent surgery at the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur.

Mohd. Farid Mohd. Nor, Wan Rosdy’s political secretary, stated that the surgery was successful due to the prayers and good wishes of different parties.

In a press release, he stated that “Wan Rosdy” (Menteri Besar) was now being monitored by his medical staff in the Intensive Care Unit at the National Heart Institute over the next 24 hour period.

Mohd Farid also said that Wan Rosdy’s family expressed their gratitude and appreciative to the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Tengku Ampuan Tunku Azizah Aminah maimunah Iskandariah Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah

He said: “I would like to thank the medical team at the Institute and all those who prayed for his recovery and health, as well as the Menteri besar.”

Al-Sultan Abdullah decreed earlier that all Pahang mosques would hold special prayers to ensure Wan Rosdy’s treatment went smoothly.

The state secretary of Pahang, Datuk seri Zulkifli Yaccob, announced on Thursday (5 June) that Wan Rosdy will be treated at the National Heart Institute beginning Friday and continuing until a time determined by the doctors.
