Ramaphosa: South Africa’s ANC will invite other parties to create a government of national Unity

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (Reuters) – South Africa’s African National Congress will invite other parties to form a national unity government, said Cyril Ramaphosa, the leader of the ANC, on Thursday after a National Executive Committee meeting.

Last week, the ANC lost the majority it had in parliament. This means that for the first since apartheid ended 30 years ago, the ANC cannot govern on its own.
