Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Introduction to Linklr and the Terms of Use

Welcome to Linklr, a dynamic social networking platform designed to connect individuals and communities worldwide. At Linklr, we are committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment for all our users. To ensure a mutual understanding of what to expect from us and what we expect from you, our Terms of Use (the "Terms") play a crucial role.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the user, and Linklr. They govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should refrain from using our Service.

Understanding these Terms is crucial as they outline your rights and responsibilities, the nature of the content you can share, and how your data is handled. They also explain the legal boundaries of using our Service, including what happens in cases of misuse or conflict.

We encourage you to read these Terms carefully and thoroughly. They are designed to ensure a transparent and fair experience for every member of the Linklr community. Your use of the Service signifies your acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to adhere to them. If you have any questions or concerns regarding any aspect of these Terms, please feel free to contact us through the channels provided in the "Contact Information" section below.

Remember, your voice and your presence on Linklr matter. As you navigate through this vibrant network, we hope these Terms will guide you in contributing positively and responsibly to our community.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Understanding and Agreeing to the Terms

Your use of Linklr signifies your explicit acceptance of these Terms of Use. By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Linklr on behalf of an organization or entity, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization or entity and promising that you have the authority to bind that organization or entity to these Terms.

It is important for you to review the Terms regularly, as your continued use of our Services signifies your agreement to any changes we make. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our Service. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

We understand that legal terms can be exhaustive. However, we have tried to make them as clear as possible. For your convenience, whenever these Terms are changed in a significant way, we will notify you. Such notifications may be made through the Service itself or through other means such as email.

Your decision to continue using our Services after changes have been made will be regarded as your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to ensure you are aware of any updates.

3. Changes to Terms

Adapting to Evolving Terms

At Linklr, we are continuously working to enhance your experience and adapt to changing digital landscapes. Consequently, we reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time as we see fit. Such changes may be driven by new features, changes in business practices, or compliance with legal obligations.

Notification and Acceptance of Changes

We understand the importance of keeping you informed. When we make significant changes to these Terms, we will provide notice through the Service, or by other means, to give you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. The form of notice will depend on the nature of the changes and may include announcements via our website, email notifications, or through the Service directly.

It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the Service.

Your Feedback is Valuable

We value your feedback and encourage you to provide input on these Terms. If you have suggestions or concerns regarding a proposed change, feel free to contact us. While we cannot guarantee every suggestion will be incorporated, we promise to consider your input seriously as part of our commitment to our community.

4. Account Registration and Use

Creating Your Linklr Account

To fully engage with Linklr’s services, you must create an account. This process involves providing certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and a password. You may also have the option to add more detailed information to your profile to enhance your networking experience.

Requirements for Account Creation

  • Age Restriction: You must be at least 13 years old to use Linklr. In some jurisdictions, the age limit might be higher due to local laws. If you're under the age of 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s consent to use the Service.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up-to-date.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. Linklr cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.

  • Prohibited Activities: Activities that are illegal, infringe upon others' rights, or violate our community guidelines are not permitted.
  • Commercial Use: If you wish to use Linklr for commercial purposes, you must obtain our consent and adhere to our specific guidelines for such use.

Data After Account Termination

After your account is terminated, we may retain some of your data for a certain period as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. However, your public profile will no longer be visible to other users.

5. User Content and Conduct

However, by posting content on Linklr, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that content in connection with the Service and Linklr's business.
  • Content Duration: This license lasts until you delete your content or your account, except in cases where your content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.

You agree to comply with all local, state, national, and international laws and regulations applicable to your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, export control laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibility for Your Conduct

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of the Service and any content you post. Linklr is not liable for the actions of any user. However, we may take any action with respect to your content if we believe it may create liability for us or may cause us to lose the services of our ISPs or other suppliers.

This choice of law provision is designed to ensure a consistent legal framework for both you and Linklr, regardless of where you are located.

Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and Linklr related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in the same jurisdiction as Linklr's headquarters.
