The PM and other leaders wish King a happy birthday

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim the King of Malaysia on His Majesty’s official birthday, which was celebrated yesterday.

Anwar prayed on behalf of his government that the King and Queen, as well as the Royal Family, would be blessed with health, prosperity, and sovereignty.

Bernama reported that he wrote in a post on Facebook: “May His Majesty continue to rule fairly and equitably in his role as guardian and head of the state of the country, as well as symbolizing unity and the well-being of people of all races.”

“The Constitutional Monarchy Institution and I will remain loyal and continue to obey the people.” “Dirgahayu, Tuanku!” said he.

The Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his family prayed that Sultan Ibrahim would reign with full sovereignty and long-life.

Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, said that he prays for His Majesty to continue ruling on the throne in greatness, prosperity and sovereignty as well as with justice and fairness.

He said: “We all Malaysians pray for His Majesty to be always blessed.”

MCA President Datuk Seri Wee Ka siong also sent his warmest wishes to Sultan Ibrahim on the occasion of His Majesty’s official birthday.

On Facebook, Dr Wee (Ayer Hitam MP) wrote: “Daulat tuanku and congratulations the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.”

Communication Minister Fahmi Fadzil congratulated Sultan Ibrahim as well.

“Thank you, from the Office of the Lembah Pantai MP and myself as well as the Ministry of Communications as well as the people.” “Long live the King,” said he.

Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Department for Law and Institutional Reforms (Law and Institutional Reforms), said that she prays to Allah so the king will always be under His care and mercy.

Fadhlina Fadhlina sidek, the Education Minister, said that she prays to Allah for His Majesty’s government’s blessing.

Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Safety, said that he prays to Allah for long-lasting prosperity and health to Their Majesties and the Royal Family.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the chairman of the coalition of opposition Perikatan Nasional, led his leaders to congratulate Sultan Ibrahim.

Other Perikatan leaders included Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Perlis Mentri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli and Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nassuruddin Daud.

Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, on behalf of state government, said he prayed that Allah bless His Majesty and His Majesty’s government with long lives.
