The winners of the’real Estate Oscars’ are honored at a special luncheon

PETALING JAYA – The Housing and Local Government Ministry held a luncheon to honor the winners of the prestigious FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards for 2014-2024.

Nga Kor Ming, the minister of real estate in China, said that the International Real Estate Federation Award (FIABCI), is the “Oscars for real estate”.

In his Friday (7th June) speech, he announced that the government had honored 21 Malaysian developers for the first time. They have received 35 gold awards.

Nga stated that international recognition shows the local developers’ ability and commitment to providing sustainable and high quality housing.

He said that the “it also proves local developers can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with leading developers around the world.”

He claimed that Malaysian developers won six gold awards across 14 categories at the FIABCI World Prix D’excellence Awards held in Singapore on 30 May.

The winners of the Affordable Housing category were SkyAwani 3 Residences Project by SkyWorld Development Berhad; Tamarind Square Project by Tujuan Gemilang Sdn Bhd; Parc3 @ KL South by Eupe Corporation Berhad; Queens ResidencesQ1 (Ideal Property Group); Saujana duta (IJM Land Berhad); and Pavilion Bukit Jalil, a retail project in Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd.
