Three people killed in Jerantut car crash include a mother and her daughter

KUANTAN – Three people, including a woman and her daughter, were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday (8th June) at KM18 Jalan Jerantut Maran.

Supt Zukri Muhammad, the Jerantut District Police Chief, said that Nur Harina Fatihah Syaifol Bahari died on the scene, while her mother Norazlina Ismail and Suhaimi Abdul Rahman died in the Jerantut hospital.

He claimed that Syaifol Idris Bahari, Nur Harina’s father who is 50 years old and works as an ambulance chauffeur, had suffered injuries on his body and knee.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the accident happened when a Perodua Bezza driven by Syaifol Bhari was traveling from Jengka towards Jerantut, while a Perodua Myvi driven by Suhaimi was travelling from Jerantut toward Felda Gelanggi 2

He said that the Perodua Myvi was believed to have gone in the opposite direction, colliding with the Perodua Bezza.

The investigation is conducted under Section 41(1) (of the Road Transport Act of 1987).
