US police say a man threatened a Facebook seller about RM140 refund. I’ll come and get your children.

Authorities said that an Indiana man had threatened to bring a gun into the home of a woman he bought a firepit from on Facebook Marketplace.

A Porter County Sheriff’s Department report dated June 11 states that the 55-year old man from Hebron, was arrested on June 10 for intimidation.

McClatchy News could not locate the attorney for the suspect.

Investigators say he threatened to sue the seller after the fire pit he bought for US$30, (RM140), broke a week or so after he purchased it.

Authorities said that the man asked for his money back but was denied by the seller.

The man sent her a Facebook message saying, “I want my money back!” The sheriff’s department said that he would return with a (expletive Glock) if he didn’t get his money back.

Authorities said that another message read: “You think you are getting away from it, think again. (expletive). I’ll be coming for your children.”

According to the sheriff’s office, the woman said she was afraid that he would come back since the sale took place at her Valparaiso house.
