Yusri, the top police officer in Perak, will be heading the federal traffic department

KUALA LUMPUR – Perak Police Chief Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Hassan basri ( pic ) will be promoted as federal Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Director in a transfer operation involving 28 senior officers.

Royal Malaysia Police Secretary Deputy Comm. Alzafny Ahmed said in a press release on Tuesday, June 11, that Perak deputy chief of police Datuk Azizi Mat Aris would assume Yusri’s post with the rank as acting Commissioner of Police.

In the transfer exercise that takes place on July 8, Senior Assistant Comm Zulkafli Saariaat, of Bukit Aman’s Organisation Management Modernisation (IGP Secretariat) will become deputy Perak Police Chief with the rank as acting Deputy Commission.

Asst Comm Mohd Hassan, the Kajang Police Chief will now be the Selangor Management Department Head with the rank as acting SAC. Meanwhile, ACP Sarifudin Mohd Salleh the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Chief will be promoted to principal assistant director at the IGP Office Secretariat with the title of acting SAC.

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya will be the principal assistant director of (D4) CID Intelligence/Operations/Records with the rank of acting SAC.
